CAN A BRAZILIAN FINANCE A PROPERTY IN FLORIDA?
Yes. You just need to have a 2-year employment relationship (you can be an employee, entrepreneur or self-employed professional), an updated Income Tax declaration and a monthly income of 3 times the value of the installment. Banks finance between 50% and 75% of the value of the property, with interest of 5-6% per year, for a period of up to 30 years.
ARE THERE ANY AGE RESTRICTIONS FOR OBTAINING REAL ESTATE FINANCING?
No. Anyone who meets the economic requirements can apply for real estate financing.
HOW MUCH WILL MY INVESTMENT IN PROPERTY RETURN?
There are two forms of income: – Property Appreciation: Between 2012 and 2014, properties appreciated in value by around 8.5% per year. – Rental income: Between 4% and 6% per year, after all expenses have been deducted.
CAN I USE MY HOME WHENEVER I WANT?
Yes, if you schedule it well in advance. What you cannot do is decide to use it at the last minute and request a breach of contract with an already confirmed guest.
